RecalledMeds is an independent consumer service for understanding whether a specific medicine or regulated health-product package is described by known recall evidence.

Why this exists

Recall announcements are often written around events, firms and regulatory actions. Consumers need to compare those records with the NDC, barcode, lot and expiration printed on a package. RecalledMeds makes that comparison explicit and keeps the source trail beside the result.

Independent service

RecalledMeds is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the FDA, any manufacturer, pharmacy, healthcare provider or government agency. Official instructions remain authoritative and are linked directly where available.

Not medical advice

The service does not diagnose, recommend treatment or tell a person to stop or change a medicine. A pharmacist or clinician can help interpret official instructions for an individual situation. Emergencies should use local emergency services.

Consumer first, professional later

The consumer service is free. A future professional API may support higher-volume or clinical operations only after data quality, access controls, rate limits and separate professional contracts pass their release gates.
